If you are heading to the Galaxy’s Edge, protecting your datapad should be your primary directive. I had heard about “kitbashing” and “greeblies” and dove head first into it!
One of the first things that I learned is when you glue plastic onto plastic that is bound to twist, turn, bump, bang, pulled out of and shoved into pockets, bags, and palms, things do tend to fall off! I kitbashed my prototype, modeled it, and printed it all together and secured the plate to a case. No more missing greeblies!
Add the paint, weathering, and patina and my datapad was ready to hit Batuu!
